it didn't take alot of money, not alot of time, but a fair bit of work and alot of trial and error. but it is now done and frankie is in the pond! he didn't come out at picture time so he's most likely hiding under the left side where the shade is. here goes:

basic layout of the pond, shaded area on the left(ghetto i know..)
inlet is transparent...
outlet is eheim green...

the filter. now this requires abit of story. it took me and my dad awhile to figure out how to work the canister... without the gravity feeding the inlet. as we all know the canister is designed for fishtanks and to be used under it, so that the gravity will naturally feed the water down and work like a siphon (water changes siphon etc). in the end, it took abit of mucking around and working out the air tightness and such and getting the siphon working via a bucket on top, then it worked eventually.



thats all the pond pictures for now, will take more in the coming days when frankie is out and about more (in the arvo...).
